NION Technology and Applications Seminar

The NION Technology and Applications Seminar is a comprehensive, five-day seminar dedicated to audio networking fundamentals, applications engineering, integrating with IT infrastructure and network management through MediaMatrix NION processing systems. Attention is given to efficient infrastructure design, application solutions and techniques, and how to optimize product configurations for specific applications. Although the class is geared primarily for those who design and install MediaMatrix systems, we also emphasize end-user usability.

This seminar covers the following topics and more:

• NION architecture design and application infrastructure
• Audio transport options
• External control, network design, & management
• Using CobraNet in MediaMatrix systems

This class has the following prerequisites:

• Solid facility in Microsoft Windows navigation, convention and standards
• Basic understanding of Ethernet networks and associated hardware
• Basic knowledge of audio system signal flow
• Understanding of integrated system design and installation
• Ability to troubleshoot at the system level

The NION Technology and Applications seminar is open to the following persons only: Authorized MediaMatrix contractors, their designers, engineers and service personnel; integrated systems consultants; owners of MediaMatrix systems (end users); Authorized MediaMatrix sales representatives; and Authorized MediaMatrix distributors. All registration applications must be approved prior to admission.

NOTE: Attendance at a previous MediaMatrix seminar is not required to participate in the NION Technology and Applications Seminar.

Refundable Seminar Registration Fee: $250 per attendee

The MediaMatrix Seminar Series is a popular industry event, and we often have waiting lists to attend. To ensure that every seat is occupied during the course, we have added a modest fee as part of the registration process. The fee is charged to your credit card when your registration is approved and is refunded in full when the attendee completes the class. The fee is NOT refunded for late cancellations or no-shows. Therefore, we recommend that you finalize your plans before completing the registration process. A late cancellation is defined as any cancellation made less than 21 days before the class date. This policy is in effect for all seminar events. Sorry, there are no exceptions.
